50 Years of Celebrations

PASTORAL PROGRAM

 Thomas Mbute: Head, Pastoral Committee

Consolata School is made up of various committees that enable its smooth running. Among them is the Pastoral Committee whose mandate is to ensure that Christian values are taught and lived and also to keep alive the charism of the Consolata Missionaries.

The school enhances spiritual formation and growth through various activities such as;

  • Prayer activities in classes, at assemblies and in all school functions.
  • Teaching, celebrating and administering various sacraments, that is: Baptism, Holy Communion, Confirmation and Confession (Reconciliation).
  • Spiritual accompaniment is offered by the school Chaplain. This is helpful to our learners and staff who need spiritual direction.
  • Mission of Christian Charity: we carry out Lenten and Christmas Charity Campaigns in favour of the needy. The collections made during these Charity Campaigns are principally taken to needy children in Consolata Missions. In this way, the school community participates actively and decisively in the mission of the church, particularly in human promotion.
  • Celebration of the Eucharist: This is done periodically throughout the term; we celebrate the Eucharist at class level and at community level. All the important occasions in our School are blessed with the celebration of Mass with the whole school population.

We are delighted to hear from you.  X
